Frontline Initiative: The Diverse Voices of DSPs

Description

This issue explores diverse and lesser-heard voices among direct support professionals. Authors include DSPs who are autistic, Deaf, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and immigrants and new Americans. It includes DSPs living in rural America, living with mental health challenges, working as caregivers at home, and supporting people of differing religious beliefs. Listening to these DSPs can help us understand our own perspective and often our own privilege.
