TIES-SCOE
Description
TIES Center is engaged in a year-long collaboration (2024-2025) with the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) for the "California Includes" initiative. The project aims to develop comprehensive materials fostering inclusive education for students with disabilities. These resources, which will promote equity and inclusion, will support families, educators, and community stakeholders in understanding the benefits of enhanced school and community inclusion. Central to the resources created is the presumption of competence for all students. The project will provide strategies to support access to grade-level, standards-based instruction, thus fostering an environment of empowerment and belonging for all.
