MTI Quarterly Trainings: Community Life Engagement in Action

New

Description

The Community Life Engagement (CLE) in Action project shares research, resources, and promising practices that support community inclusion and partnership for people with disabilities. The core of the project is the ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) model, which emphasizes "All Teach, All Learn." This approach encourages participants to learn from each other by sharing knowledge and feedback. Participating service providers from Minnesota shared how they use information and lessons learned to inform their own service delivery and organizational change efforts. Partners on this project—which include the Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire, the Institute for Community Inclusion at UMass Boston, and ANCOR—provided an overview of the CLE toolkit and the components of the CLE in Action project.
