Nasra Hassan is an advocate at Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid/Minnesota Disability Law Center, where she protects the civil and legal rights of people with disabilities across Minnesota. Nasra builds partnerships with community organizations and leads outreach initiatives that help people understand their rights, access resources, and advocate for themselves. Nasra earned a B.A. in Global Studies with a concentration in Human Rights and Justice in Africa from the University of Minnesota. Her work includes leading and contributing to community education on disability rights, cultural competency, and domestic violence through collaborations with organizations including Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, The Arc Minnesota, the National Disability Rights Network, and the Domestic Abuse Project. Nasra is committed to advancing equity, expanding access to justice, and empowering underserved communities through advocacy.
