The Institute's monthly staff newsletter features news of recent activities, accomplishments, and resources. This month's first feature story concerns a new training module, part of a series of free tools from ICI and the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain, aimed at helping professionals better understand and assess childhood anxiety. The second story is about ICI's participation in a career fair sponsored by Special Olympics Minnesota for young job seekers with disabilities. The third story is about the University of Minnesota’s 40-Day Project, which supports new mothers in their new role as parents. The final feature story is about ICI's participation in CEHD Research & Innovation Day. This month's Update profiles Joey Carlson, the new managing editor of Access Press, a monthly newspaper (and longtime ICI partner) that serves the disability community in the upper Midwest.
