FYI from the Institute on Community Integration: August 2020

Description

FYI Monthly is a monthly e-communication from the Institute on Community Integration. The August 2020 issue includes three feature stories, an ICI Facebook post about a Frontline Initiative story on a difficult question for direct support professionals (DSPs), a new publication, staff updates, and an alumni update.

The first feature story is about ICI's participation in a national intervention research network that aims to improve the health of people with autism. The second story is about this year's Reinventing Quality conference, which became virtual because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The final story is about the upcoming DSP Recognition Week, which will also be virtual because of the pandemic. This month's alumni update is about a former ICI employee who is leading a disability service provider that is moving all of its services into integrated community settings.
