FYI is a monthly e-communication from the Institute on Community Integration. The May 2022 issue includes two feature stories, a recent ICI Facebook post, new publications, a scholarship opportunity, staff updates, and an alumni update.
One story is about a new ICI/University of Massachusetts Boston project that will design and implement a statewide strategy for connecting Minnesotans with disabilities to better jobs and higher pay. The other story is about a series of workshops that ICI is holding around Minnesota to bring disability back into conversations about equity, social justice, and diversity. This month's alumni update is about Cow Tipping Press founder and MNLEND fellow Bryan Boyce, who teaches adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to write their stories.
