The latest issue of Mansa Roundup, the newsletter of Diocese of Mansa in the southern African country of Zambia, mentioned the recent visit by ICI’s “Amy Hewitt and her team from the University of Minnesota,” whose training regarding people with disabilities is helping to realize Bishop Patrick Chisanga’s vision of “A Diocese that Embraces Everyone with Christ’s Love.” The bishop, who wrote the newsletter, called upon every parish and diocesan institution in his district to adopt policies that foster the love, respect, and inclusion of people with disabilities.
