December 5 lecture: "Inclusion in Czech Primary Schools – Opportunity or Threat to Quality of Teaching?"

On December 5, Dr. Jana Kratochvílová and Jarmila Bradová from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic will present, "Inclusion in Czech Primary Schools – Opportunity or Threat to Quality of Teaching?" They will introduce an inclusion model being implemented in the Czech educational system and explain the challenges it faces in the background of new legislation. They will also present results from a Czech School Inspection report and data from their own research in Czech primary schools. The presentation will be held on campus in 227 Burton Hall, from noon to 1 p.m. Discussion will follow. Presented by the College of Education and Human Development in collaboration with ICI's Global Resource Center on Inclusive Education.
