Muna Khalif has worked for the University of Minnesota since 2014. She has spent 17 years in the academic healthcare field, serving predominantly underrepresented communities across Minnesota with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

At the Institute on Community Integration, Khalif is a coordinator at the TeleOutreach Center, and she works on the MN DHS project as an Education Program Specialist 2. She is a licensed social worker and licensed qualifying administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). The IDI is a reliable, valid measurement tool for cross-cultural management and building trust. Khalif is committed to supporting team members with IDI's multicultural global mindset competency tool and Equity in Positive Behavior Support. She is an APBS board member and co-chairs APBS' public awareness and dissemination (PAD) committee. Khalif leads strategic developments with the PAD committee on the APBS podcast.
