Resource Links
Women's College Coalition
(www.academic.org) Parents - not peers or the media - have the strongest
influence on their daughters' self-esteem and life choices. Research shows
that girls and boys are more alike than different, especially prior to puberty.
Until then, their physical developments are similar. Given the same kind
and amount of practice, they would perform equally well at sports and other
physical activities. Check out this website for what parents can do, facts
about women and work, and more.
Parent Education Resources
