Question 38I am a staff developer in science, consulting with the Teachers Academy for Math & Science in Chicago. My current assignment is with 15 teachers of grades K-3. I believe that All-Means-All. What kinds of materials, resources, etc. would you suggest that I share with them?
STW Wizard StrategiesStrategy 1There are two wonderful web sites that I know about and tons of excellent journal articles that focus on including students with disabilities in general education math and science. The websites are EASI (www.rit.edu/~easi/index.htm) and DO-IT (www.washington.edu/doit/). For the journal articles, just do a search with the key words "science" and "disability." There is SO much available in this area - its a wonder everyone still isn't included!
